Blaze is a healthy, lively 4 year old male Australian Labradoodle who loves people and laps up all the cuddles and affection he can get. He’s confident, fun and loves a good game of fetch or tug. He comes from a family with three indoor cats and has grown up around primary school aged children. He loves to socialise with other dogs and may benefit from having another canine friend to entertain him. He predominantly lives inside with a fenced yard for toileting and play.
Blaze is an intelligent boy and a fast learner who knows basic commands and is very motivated by food treats. However, he would benefit from further and consistent training. In particular, he can surf counter tops looking for extra foods, and if seeking attention can steal items of clothing. However, he is not destructive, and is comfortable being home alone to rest during the day when needed. He is occassionally reactive and barks at unfamiliar people and animals walking past the house, but friendly to anyone invited in.
Due to a change in family circumstances, we’re looking to rehome him as we’d like to ensure he has a long term home where he can get the amount of regular exercise and play that he needs.
