ALA breeders are required to retain puppies until 8 weeks of age. This ensures that puppies have the opportunity for appropriate socialisation with their litter mates. All puppies adopted from ALA breeders should be microchipped, desexed or on a spay later contract with Spay Secure and age appropriately wormed and vaccinated. They will be accompanied by a health guarantee and are registered with the ALA.
